How long does it take to get our photos delivered?
Every session is different. We do typically tell our clients to expect at least a 2 week waiting period for full photo delivery or a 6 week waiting period for large events and weddings. We will send at least 5-10 sneak peaks within 48 hours after the session has ended.
Do you have payment plans or discounts?
Very rarely do we ever need to do payment plans but, we do have the option for those that need it! We understand that times can be tough and we want our clients to have their moments captured regardless of financial difficulties. We do ask that those that may need a payment plan to notify us at the time of booking so that we can make proper arrangements.
We also do offer many discounts throughout the year for model call sessions, pop up mini sessions, and holiday specials; keep a look out on our social media pages for our upcoming deals. We are now offering 20% off discounts to veterans, active duty families, and first responder families (ID proof is required before discount will be added).
What is your go-to photography style? How would an edited shoot look?
Typically, we like to style based on client interests, unless we are shooting a specific type of mini session or an event. For our weddings, we generally edit the sessions to look light and airy but also very natural. Otherwise, we base it off our client and session type. For example, if a senior is very into creativity and summer vibes, we will edit the photos and provide a senior shoot involving lots of color and warm lighting. Overall, our goal is to make the images seem unedited and yet full of life. This is why answering the client questionnaire is so vital before booking the shoot because it helps us decide how to go about editing and location, if one is not already decided on.
How does the process work?
1. Email or Message us for booking
It's pretty simple, which is what we like! Email us at ourtimestandsstillphotography@gmail.com or message us through our social media accounts to start your booking process. We ask that you include what type of session you are needing (senior photos, wedding, maternity, etc.) and the time frame of when you need the shoot done. If you are booking one of our deals or popups, please let us know that as well. We also ask that you provide your name and a good contact number for us to be able to reach you at!
2. Sign the Contract and Fill out the Questionnaire
Once we have all of your information needed at the time of booking, we will email you a link to your client dashboard, (this email will come from a business called "Unscripted", you may need to check your spam folder). This is where you will be able to sign the contract, fill out the client questionnaire, and receive other resources to help with your upcoming shoot, including your invoice for payment. It is vital that you sign the contract and fill out the questionnaire as soon as you receive the email (or at least as soon as you can), otherwise you will not have your booking date secured. If you do owe a retainer (this will only be for large events or package sessions), you must have that paid before the booking will be confirmed. Failure to sign the contract or pay a retainer may cause you to lose your booking! The questionnaire is not mandatory for booking but it does help us to figure out how to edit your photos and style your shoot to fit your interests and help us set a good location and time for the shoot if one is not chosen beforehand.
3. Confirmation is Key!
A week before the shoot, we will be emailing you a confirmation that you will need to reply to so that we can make sure no arrangements (date, time, location) may need to be altered due to any non-emergency reason (weather, location issues, etc.). If we do not receive a reply within 24 hours, we will try to contact you through the contact number given at booking, if we still do not receive a confirmation after 48 hours, the session will be cancelled and all retainer fees will be non refundable.
The day before your shoot, we will send you a courtesy email to remind you of the session (where and when to meet) and to remind you of any outstanding balances that will need paid before the end of the session. Failure to pay the balance will cause your photos to be withheld until balance is paid, and a late fee will be administered daily until the fee is cleared.
In the event of an emergency, we ask that you give a 24 hour rescheduling or cancellation notice, or as soon as you can. Any retainers paid will be placed on the account for a future session but will not be refunded. Any payments, other than the retainer, can be transferred to a new session or refunded to the client.
4. Payment, Session, & Delivery
After your session has been completed and payments are cleared (we do take check, card, and cash, as well as electronic payments, such as paypal, cash app, and venmo), we will begin the editing process! We usually tell our clients to expect a 2 week waiting period for all photos to be delivered, 6 weeks if for a large event or wedding, but it doesn't always take that long! In the event it takes longer than the expected waiting period, we will notify you. We will send out 5-10 sneak peak photos within 48 hours of the shoot. This is a perfect time for you to see how your photos will be edited and to request any changes to overall editing styles.
Once you have received your gallery, you will have 14 days to download your session before the gallery will be closed and photos will be inaccessible to both photographer and client. Within that 14 day period, we ask that you would request any overall editing changes to be made, if you have any. After the 14 days we will not be able to edit the photos and a new re-shoot session will need to be scheduled. You will receive an email the day before the gallery s closed as a reminder in case you need anything else downloaded.
